How Do I Know if PortworX™ will work for Me?
 
What is PortworX™?
PortworX™ is an independent platform delivering secure content over the web to a specific user in Real-Time from your ERP's third party underlying database i.e. Oracle, SQL etc.
How different is PortworX™ from my existing ERP system?
Your login screen is virtually identical to your a well known ERP system so there will be no learning curve for the end users.
Can I write to the ERP database?
PortworX™ has been specifically designed for View-Only and nothing will be written to any database however, possibilities to input data will be made on a case by case basis.
 
Will PortworX™ work with my existing SAP system?
Yes
 
What version of SAP do I need to run PortworX™?

Since PortworX™ does not run through SAP it is not version specific.

 
What type of Database manufacturer will work with PortworX™?
PortworX™ will work with virtually all manufacturers supporting ODBC, but the most common are Oracle, SQL.
What is Customer-Self Service (CSS)
Customer Self-Service (CSS) is an application that aims to completely eliminate replication by granting customers direct access to relevant real-time information from anywhere at any time. This is achieved by utilizing the Internet and the PortworX™ system. Other applications are also available and included with PortworX™.
Can I also use PortworX™ for my Vendors & Employees?
PortworX™ will work for all groups that are required to see data from your ERP system.
Do I need a separate server to run PortworX™?
PortworX™ requires a separate server with minimum requirements of 512MB Memory, 10GB Hard Drive and a CD/DVD Rom drive, Windows 2003, IIS Web Server, Microsoft & .Net Framework.
 
How many people can log into PortworX™?
PortworX™ license will allow up to 1,000 occasional users however, performance depends on hardware
 
How long does it take to install PortworX™?
Price includes typical remote installation/implementation in 3-days.
Do I need to pay for reports?
PortworX™ comes with a set of standard reports to use immediately & some custom reports will be created for each customer as part of the 3rd day installation process.
 
How many people do I need to hire to run PortworX™?
PortworX™ installation is included in the price and ongoing support is included in the annual fee, no additional personnel are needed.
What is my Return on Investment?
Call centers have an average total cost of $36,000 - $40,000 per customer service representative (CSR) per year which is more that the cost of PortworX™. By eliminating only one CSR your ROI will be less than 9-months.
