site must be prepared to support a PortworX
installation; including installation, configuration,
backup and remote support.
- Network
administrator will make initial preparations
installing OS on the PortworX server
providing shared drive space of 10GB for
PortworX backup and repository usage
- Network
access for remote user
- Access
to SE16 in your SAP R/3 test system
- AHC
user must have installation privileges
on PortworX server
- Firewall
setup for PortworX webpage with
default index page

& CONFIGURATION - Day 5 |

The
installation of PortworX begins at
this time.
Our
technical staff will handle:
- Installing
PortworX programs and DLL's
- Installing
RDBMS SAP DB or ODBC compatible brand
of customer's choice
- Setting
up database tables
- Loading
database with initial configuration

communications with client's super user
to determine user master record setup
and identifying additional views
